Mathieu Maroun

Mathieu is a lawyer admitted to the Paris Bar. He primarily advises investment funds, family offices, managers, and industrial groups on LBOs, M&A and restructuring.


He teaches the LBO course in the Master 214 Business Law program at Paris Dauphine-PSL University.


Background: Before co-founding Quest Avocats, Mathieu served as Deputy General Counsel at Hy24, a joint venture between FiveT Hydrogen and Ardian, and the world’s largest private investment manager dedicated to hydrogen (with €2 billion in assets under management). He previously worked at Racine, where he helped establish the Private Equity practice, and at Ayache, where he met Mikaël.


Mathieu holds a degree from Paris Dauphine-PSL University (Master 214 in Business Law).


He is passionate about street photography, ski touring, and history.
